Meet Rebecca

Rebecca Frechette brings 20 years of applied experience in the School of Health and Exercise Sciences and the Faculty of Education at UBCO, where she taught courses in health, physical activity, and skill development and coordinated student community practicum placements. Her Masters degree in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary and BSc in Kinesiology from the University of Ottawa also package together well to equip Rebecca to educate and lead in the field of health.

In this new entrepreneurial chapter, she is committed to working with clients and communities to improve overall health. Her academic background and certifications along with professional relationships with health organizations, universities, municipalities and the private sector, uniquely qualify her to practice as a consultant, a CSEP‑certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist and community health lead with RMF Clinical Health Strategies. She is passionate about helping people achieve sustainable lifestyle improvements across the lifespan.

Rebecca believes that movement is a key ingredient to a high quality of life. Taking movement to heart, Rebecca enjoyed playing varsity volleyball for York University and Ottawa University during her studies.

You will likely find Rebecca on the golf course, hiking trails, cross-country ski trails, on the lake kayaking or plunging in the lake through the winter! She also reaps the benefits of regular strength training, jogging with her husband and dog and spending valuable time with family and friends!
